soju & hash

Ok, not much going on here that's of any really relevant importance enough to update, but since it has been almost a week I figured I should. Let's see...last Friday I went out with my friend Dan for coffee and shopping and video games and samgyeopsal and soju. It was a good time, though I was definitely feeling slightly tipsy on the bus ride home. He and I and the rest of the anime gang are supposed to be getting together tomorrow night for a movie or something, though we may just end up crashing at someone's place and watching a video (since I've only ever gone to the movies once here and I really have no idea how they work). We might just get coffee or dinner or something...

Saturday will be the obligatory anime meeting as usual, though Saturday morning I'm going to be taking my first run with the Hash House Harriers of Seoul (a local running group). I really ought to buy a new pair of running shoes for the occasion, but that will just have to wait until my next paycheck. Or maybe I can put off going for a week or something. In any case I'm looking forward to it...cause it's not just a running club; it's more like a while goose chase, complete with wacky antics and humor. Here's their website. Should be interesting...
