signed, sealed, delivered
So tonight I accepted the teaching job at SELC, sent the signed contract off to my recruiter. I'll be FedExing the rest of my documents for my work visa to the school tomorrow. And so it begins...
Now comes the fun part where I get to write up my letter of resignation to my current job at SHR and tell them how I appreciate the opportunities they gave me but now it's time for me to move on. But I won't be crying on my way out the door...no way. Heh.
I only wish I could fast forward through this next month and be getting on that plane right now. I just have so much to do before I can leave though...too much. Tomorrow I'm putting my car up for sale and sending off that visa stuff. I also have to get some passport photos taken at some point...and shopping. There's lots of shopping to be done. The good news is that my friend Josh is letting me borrow his laptop while I'm over there. So if I can get internet access in my apartment once I'm there I'll be all set!
I still can't believe I'm actually doing this...I don't think it's all sunk in yet. But I think this will be a great opportunity for me to grow as a person. Maybe by going to Korea I can find my path and figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life, because I'm certainly not getting anywhere by sticking around here...
It's time to say goodbye to STL.

Congrats on accepting the post. I remember how flustered I felt a couple of weeks back.. with having to pack and sort out all of my affairs. My one not so warrented piece of advice is to cherish every last second you have left with you family and friends... you won't know how much you'll miss them... and to bring lots of pictures... and some chocolates or candies that you can't live without... it is nice to just eat a crunchy bar and think of home.
All the best.
